Veil: Solid Foundation
Since its inception, Veil, has had a strong focus on privacy. One of the most remarkable aspects from Veil is that it is built on top of Bitcoin software adding Ring-CT and other privacy technologies.
On top of that, Veil has a self-funding mechanism built into the protocol that provides funding for further development, community expansion, and currency adoption as well as resources for Veil Labs which focuses on R&D in cryptography and blockchain enhancements.
To allow everyone to participate in the consensus mechanism, Veil implemented a hybrid Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus system. PoS allows anyone to participate in the consensus system even if they don’t have a mining rig by staking the coins they own to support the network and earn staking rewards. The PoW implementation promotes fairness of coin distribution through the ASIC-resistant X16RT hashing algorithm.

Monitoring revenue and miner performance on Luxor
Once you’ve started hashing, grab yourself a beer! It’ll take about 5 minutes for your worker to appear on our stats page. To find your user, simply go to mining.luxor.tech and type in your wallet address at the top of the searchbar or log into your account. You should see something like this:
