HyperSpace Wallet Setup Guide
Hyperspace is a Siacoin fork. Hyperspace network will be a global storage marketplace fueled by SpaceCash cryptocurrency.
With reduced profitability of Siacoin mining due to increased network difficulty many of our community members are looking for other coins to mine that share the same Blake2b Algorithm as Sia.
That’s why we’re looking into making a pool for this new project. We want to offer our miners a wide range of options to choose from. We’ve detailed Setup Guides for the AntMiner A3 and Innosilicon S11.
Please note that this wallet runs on your desktop and not through a cloud. As such, you will need to synchronize the whole blockchain to transact with your wallet.
To begin with you’ll need to download the latest wallet from GitHub. After you’ve downloaded the wallet for you OS you’ll need to extract the folder to the desired directory, navigate to the newly created and run the .exe file.
You’ll need to allow access to both Public and Private Networks in the Windows Defender Alert, as you see in the image below.
Then, the HyperSpace UI will initiate and sync the blockchain. You’ll see two options: Create a new wallet or Load a wallet from a seed. Since we want to create a HyperSpace address from scratch we are going to select the first one.
Then the UI will show your wallet seeds. Save and backup, somewhere safe, the seed mnemonic that appears — you will need it if you wish to recover your wallet later.
Your account will be locked, just insert the provided password to unlock it.
Then you should change the password so it differs from your seeds. Go to Change Password and follow the steps:
Finally, go to Receive SpaceCash and Save your Address. Now, you’re ready to transact with SpaceCash!
